Software for the automation of calculations on light sources

Light Source Utilities is the software for the automation of the calculations necessary for the preparation of the technical and product sheets for the light sources required by the EU 2019-2015 and EU 2019-2020 regulations.

Divided into application areas, the simple and intuitive interface allows the entry of all the parameters necessary for the execution of the calculations. The software includes all the cases provided for by the legislation and has numerous advantages:

• drastically reduces the possibility of calculation errors on sometimes very complex formulas;
• significantly speeds up the preparation of compliance documents;
• simplicity of entering parameters;
• quick identification of the cases to be considered;
• reports or prevents elements that could be incorrect or non-compliant;

• Calculation of the power of the incandescent light source declared equivalent (W)
• Calculation of Energy Class and Total Network Effectiveness TM (lm / W)
• Calculation of luminous intensity (cd) and flux (lm)
• Calculation of energy efficiency (Ponmax) and minimum required efficiency (lm / W)
• Calculation of the minimum energy efficiency for separate power supply units at full load
• Calculation of the lumen maintenance factor
• Calculation of the displacement factor (cos φ1), absorbed power (W), absorbed current (mA)

Light Source Utilities was developed internally by Zerodue Industrial (in collaboration with Diedron Technologies S.r.l.).
